How much time and money you channel toward different tactics really depends upon the state of your business and what a tactic has to offer. However that being said it is best to use a combination of tactics as opposed to putting all your eggs in the one basket.

The choice of marketing tactics for small business are to a large extent governed by marketing budgets. Which is why it is important to put your money in the right places. For example site retargeting is good for recapturing traffic you already get but can’t generate traffic on its own. However when run in conjunction with search retargeting it helps create traffic and convert the traffic into sales.

By specifically taking into account the target audience and the business needs you can determine exactly how much time should be devoted to each marketing tactic. The tactics can then be analyzed and the best ones focused on to give way to more success and positive results as the business continues to grow well into the future.
