Content is essentially the cornerstone of search and social media. How does content interact with marketing strategies? well it forms the basis on which marketing strategies need to be formed. Content is what connects businesses and audiences. with always on consumers marketers need to know how brands can be developed with content traveling in real time. While there are many questions about how content interact with marketing strategies in the B2B space, there really are more similarities with B2C than differences. The reason being that B2B targets are people who behave in a social manner both online and offline.

To create engagement on an ongoing basis the question of how does content interact with marketing strategies needs to look just beyond the written word. In other words videos, press releases, images and content management systems need to be part of the marketing and optimization strategies. While the uniqueness and personalization of content is important, another factor that plays a significant role is the recency of content. In order to achieve a higher visibility the more you need to be visible in real time both in search and social spaces.
