With average conversion rates for an e-commerce store being 2.13% knowing how to maximize conversions for e-commerce pages is vital. Abandonment occurs on product pages of e-commerce sites and could be for a variety of reasons. However to increase conversions one can provide the detail and risk reversal that most potential customers are looking for and to increase confidence in their purchase decision.

For e-commerce pages with average order values of less than $50 the abandonment rate on average is 75% while with those of average order values of $2000 it is around 96%. To turn the tide one really needs to know what influences buyer decisions and how to optimize the e-commerce page to provide all the needs for a buyer.

Of all the features that most influence a buyers decision are free shipping, free returns and special sales and discounts.
