Shopping Cart App Keep Is Making A Play For Angry Pinterest Users
In an attempt to increase their reach, Keep tried to woo disgruntled Pinterest users. Keep dubbed as “the shoppable Pinterest” is hoping to win an audience with those annoyed with Pinterest’s latest move to ban all affiliates. The company has launched an affiliate program of its own. Keep turned on the ability for its users to add affiliate links for the first time just 24 hours after the Pinterest announcement. The affiliate program is however invitation only. New Layouts and Data on Tweet Engagement
Twitter seems to be testing out new layouts of multiple images in a tweet. The mosaics might appear different each time as a result. The Next Web hopes that –
the test means the multi-photo format will soon support GIFs, Vines, and videos, or mixed media in one tweet.

A simply measured study found that while tweets by big brands rose by 11% from 4Q13 and 4Q14, brands that tweet at least once a day rose 92% and per post engagement rose 85%. Essentially this means that the more they posted, the more engagement they received. Tweets with photos made up 55% of tweets and resulted in 57% of all engagement. Tweets with at least one hashtag averaged 184 replies and retweets.
Photos Now Have Less Reach on Facebook
A socialbakers study found that of all posts types photos now generate the least reach of all. Video provides the most engagement. According to SocialBakers you can expect a 135% increase in organic reach when you post a video instead of a photo.
